On le sait désormais, le circuit a été modifié cette année, afin de répondre aux exigences en matière de sécurité. L'organisation a souhaité casser la longue ligne droite du départ et renvoyer les mille motards (et 500 quads la veille) vers l'intérieur du circuit, face à la digue où le spectacle devrait se concentrer davantage. Du coup, le holeshot en sera profondément modifié : l'organisation promet une « arrivée » à Merlimont plus technique, ouverte à une trentaine de prétendants « et non plus à deux ou trois motos dopées ».

GM Chief Executive Dan Akerson declined to comment on whether GM could buy back a stake in Ally when asked last month. "We are always concerned about our financing position, particularly in the wholesale area," Akerson told reporters in Detroit.
Maybe they're right. But this much is true: An audience that's excited about the new Ford GT being a hybrid is one that better understands the energy and climate problems facing us today. And that's an audience that's more likely to support high speed rail, clean energy generation, biking initiatives, and the other deep green solutions we need to properly address the obstacles we face. You can spend money and take some chances that could never be contemplated for a mass market car. And the buyer expects this to be expensive, need extra maintenance, and to have substantial usage limitations. What's learned here can then migrate to mass market cars. Better to do your experimenting here, where everyone has another car for basic driving duties, than to force your testing on folks who can't afford to ever be late to work.

When the cars are in service overnight, what prevents the car from freezing?
They're kept inside but we do cold-start testing to ensure the engine starts at the temperatures we have to contend with in Sweden.
